Daily reading of a book of choice is a priority. 
 Reading Goal: 1,000 pages (minimum) for third trimester. (This translates to approximately 83 pages/week in  12 week period.)

LAST BOOK PROJECT:  Create a test for your free reading book. Handouts available when book is complete. Due Thur. May 25th

Monday:  READ book of choice
                     Read Echo & Narcissus myth
                     Complete 2 pages of homework packet

Tuesday:  READ book of choice

                  Read King Midas myth
                      Complete 2 pages of homework packet                         

    

Wednesday:    READ book of choice

                         Read Sisyphus & Tantalus myth
                             Finish homework packet
                             Work on monologue

                                                            

Thursday:   READ book of choice
                         Read Medusa myth
                          Quizlet to study vocabulary and spelling
                          Finish  monologue rough draft 

                                             

Friday:   Spelling Test
                  Rough Draft Monologue due
                   Blue & Gold Day
                 Student Council Packets due

               

State Testing begins next week.  All 6th grade will be taking Language Arts tests on May 9th & 10th. Math will be on May 16th & 18th.
