The schedule for 6th grade at Grant was created to be a bridge between the elementary grades and Jr. High. Students have two core teachers and two classrooms instead of one, which means students spend equal time daily with each teacher. Mr. Johnson teaches math and science for two periods of the day. Language arts and social studies will be taught by a new-to-Grant teacher who is yet to be decided. Math and language arts are taught in the morning and science and social studies in the afternoon. Spanish/technology, PE, music, library, and Kindergarten buddies will also be part of our weekly routine. Lockers will also be assigned, so be on the lookout this summer for all the amazing items now available to bling out this storage space.
